April 27, 2013 The river varies quite a bit this time of year so check back frequently. Always remember heavy rains in other areas of the state do not usually influence the Niangua River. You can also always check the link on the left side of our home page that will show you the Niangua River and Bennett Spring current level. It is reported hourly. Today the river is flooded as there were heavy rains up river. Headed back down now. Bennett Spring branch not but but running a little higher today. Fishing report despite the rain has been good.
