Family camping is a great way to build memories of "quality time."
Camping is a lot of fun, but please keep in mind that good manners are as important in the outdoors as anywhere else.
Sand Spring Resort is a family friendly place. Please help us keep that way. Thanks!
- RV sites include 30 and 50 amp service, 1 picnic table, and BBQ grill. Occupancy on RV sites is 1 RV or 2 tents.
- Primitive camping sites are first come first serve. Primitive sites DO NOT include picnic tables. Please come prepared.
- Fires are allowed – please do not burn trash in fire pits. A trash dumpster is provided. Please place all trash in dumpster before departure.
- No loud radios. Quiet time is 10 pm-8 am. If you cannot abide by this rule you will leave.
- Showers and flush toilets are located in main pool building complex.
- Respect neighboring properties. Purple paint and ribbon means no trespassing. If you are caught trespassing you will be ticketed.
Note: Please DO NOT BRING FIREWOOD! Moving firewood around the country helps spread forest pests like the Emerald Ash Borer and Gypsy Moth. You can gather any dead and down wood around the park, or buy local firewood at roadside stands, stores or canoe rentals. (Don't take it home with you, either.)
